Innovation Awards

The NABCA Innovation Award is given to an academic institution with off-site location(s) that did something to strategically move the location or institution forward. All Individual and NABCA Academic Institution Members may apply. One winner will be announced for the NABCA Innovation Award each year. An Award Recipient representative will be required to present the innovation at the Annual NABCA Conference and one complimentary registration will be provided to the Representative.

NABCA invites applications for its inaugural Innovation Award. The award is designed to encourage recognition, advancement and growth of branch campus administration by:

  • Creating recognition at the campus, community, national and international level

  • Contributing to the body of knowledge about branch campus administration in higher education 

  • Demonstrating effective practices of branch campus administration 

Applications are accepted June 1 through September 30. Award Recipient will be announced in November.

The Selected Award Recipient will receive the following:

  • 1-year NABCA Academic Institution Membership for 1-10 people

  • 1 Complimentary Conference Registration for the year of the Award

  • Hosted hotel room for 3-nights for the Awardee

  • 1-year Web banner on the NABCA Website

  • Conference Expo Table to display innovation and share with NABCA Conference Attendees 

  • General session time at the conference to provide virtual tour of location and facilities and to share the innovative practice/activity that earned the award

  • Full page in conference program to highlight the innovation and institution

  • Commemorative award plaque
